Upslope Beer Tasting

ABQ Beer Week Continues! Join Jubilation TODAY, Thursday, May 30th from 4 pm – 6 pm as we taste through a selection of Rare and Limited Release beers from Upslope Brewing Company.
Included in this tasting will be our current seasonals – Sparkling Rosé IPA and Tea Shandy, a special tap selection at the growler fill station, as well as the coveted Batch 1000, a 17.5% barrel aged strong ale.

We will also be sampling the following:

Upslope Craft Lager – a premium American lager brewed entirely of malted barley. Snowmelt-infused and river-ready, this Colorado-style session beer stands side-by-side with our family of premium ales to bring you a clean, easy, light-bodied lager for the ages.

Upslope Citra Pale Ale – prominently featuring Citra hops, our Citra Pale Ale delivers pungent grapefruit and tropical fruit aromas on the nose with a semi-dry finish. Juicy notes imparted by the hops pair with the light caramel malt character to balance this drinkable, “go-to” American Pale Ale.

Upslope India Pale Ale – this will appeal to the beer enthusiast who desires a bold, deep and bitter ale. With a coppery color indicative of a traditional IPA, Upslope India Pale Ale has a complex malty character and is more well-balanced than most IPAs, but still offers that bitterness that IPA lovers seek. Complex malty character meets the bitter side.

Rocky Mountain Kolsch – layered in flavors inspired by the backcountry, our Rocky Mountain Kölsch merges the easy-drinking character of traditional Kölsch yeast with our innovative spin. Colorado honey, sage and Mosaic and Lemondrop hops create a bright, lemon citrus character with a touch of hops.

Tea Shandy – inspired by the lemon and tea flavors of the classic “Arnold Palmer”, this beer was brewed with whole lemon puree and organic black tea. This brew is light and quaffable with bright lemon flavors and a smooth tea character.

Sparkling Rose IPA – dry, effervescent, and refreshing, Sparkling Rosé IPA represents a paradigm shift in the hoppy beer status quo. Notes of peach skin, white grape, and honeydew melon emanate from the glass with pomelo, jasmine, and juicy citrus flavors coming through in the finish.

Batch 1000 – to celebrate our 1000th batch of beer brewed at our main production facility, we convoyed a ludicrously sticky wort and dosed ten different types of sugar into the fermentation. Twelve months of mellowing if fresh bourbon barrels bestowed notes of warm caramel, creme brûlée, stone fruit, and baking spices. This rich and viscous beer turned cordial is intended to be savored and shared in good company.

We will have a surprise or two so don’t miss this! Cheers!

Please park in Jubilation’s parking lot on Monte Vista or on Amherst. Do not park in the parking spaces for the surrounding businesses. Also, please keep your furry friends at home during our tastings.
